From the end of March to the beginning of May, a unique spectacle takes place every year in the meadow valleys of the upper Oleft valley. Millions of wild-growing "yellow daffodils" reach out towards the sun and transform the meadows in the North Eifel Nature Park into carpets of yellow flowers. The heralds of spring look confusingly similar to their garden sisters, the daffodils, only slightly smaller.
You can explore the magic of flowers along the two signposted circular hiking trails on your own or experience them with expert guidance. The starting point is always the "Hollerather Knie" car park near Hellenthal-Hollerath on the B265. Sturdy shoes required!
